Sacredpath Family Health and Wellness Center was founded in Hillcrest in 1992 to provide the most effective natural health care available to individuals and families. It is based on classical Chinese medicine, the oldest coherent and consistent health care system in the world which has served millions of people for at least 5000 years. As well as originating and mastering the art and science of wellness and longevity, Chinese medicine has effective methods for treating imbalances caused by prolonged stress, poor diet, emotional trauma as well as accidents and injuries. Sacredpath Healing Center is dedicated to educating individuals in the community regarding choices they can make in order to achieve wellness goals, whether it be to live a long and vital life or to overcome a crippling health problem.
Sacredpath Health and Wellness Center was founded by Claire Didion, based on her vision and understanding of optimal health as a path which is unique to each person. Since 1972, Ms Didion has followed her own path of wellness, studying, practicing and teaching whole food nutrition, yoga, meditation, physiology, dance, exercise and movement therapies, and various structural therapies and bodywork techniques prior to embarking on her study of Chinese medicine in 1992. Since 2002 she has been a student of Jeffrey Yuen, 88th generation Taoist lineage holder. She continues to study and expand her understanding, bridging the apparent gap between western and eastern medicines.
Through her practice and community education, Ms. Didion's intention is to help people understand how our bodies actually function in conjunction with our mental and emotional processes so that we may easily make health choices based on informed decisions rather than on profit-based health care marketing. Ms. Didion believes that each individual deserves the opportunity to experience optimal health in order to realize their dreams and goals for life. In this context, we provide the finest quality care combining ancient Chinese wisdom and modern nutritional and biological research and diagnostics. We work with you to help you develop a comprehensive health program that suits your life.
